Art in the Park 2015: An Affordable Art Fair

Art in the Park 2015 was an experience to remember.  It was my first time to attend and participate, so it was both a learning process and a chance to enjoy a day filled with art.  I can’t remember the last time I was surrounded by so much art and so many artists and art enthusiasts!

At the end of the day – even during the middle of it, actually – I was drained and exhausted, but no less determined to work harder and improve my craft.

Invited by my high school friend and fellow artist, Mike, I became a part of a group called Meet Us Artists (M.U.A.).  Before the event, not all of us knew each other, so we thought we’d settle with a name that tells the world we are various artists wanting to introduce ourselves.  There were seven of us and, together, we planned and organized our first participation in Art in the Park.
