A Trip to Pinto Art Museum

One Saturday, my friend, Ivy, and I went to Pinto Art Museum.  I’ve seen lovely photos of the place from my Facebook contacts and I couldn’t wait to check it out myself.

It was accessible for an art museum tucked in Antipolo.  Upon arrival, I immediately had the impression that I stepped into a tourist attraction.  And although we went there for the arts, we ended up running around looking for picturesque structures so we can take photos of each other.  😛

Tired?  We have bed #1 near the entrance!
Oh, and I made that keychain, by the way.  It’s a ‘fan dummy’ (Kyubei) commission.  ♥

Hmm…  put “K” in the middle and it’ll look like my logo.  🙂

I particularly loved how the galleries blended in with nature and the natural formations of the land it was built upon.  It was a sight to see, and I can tell that one doesn’t have to be an art enthusiast to enjoy the place.

Art-wise, though, the place is full of collections — from paintings to sculptures to art installations.

And the beds.  Let us not forget the beds.

We had about 2-3 hours to explore the place, and I regret to say that it was not enough.  A second visit is definitely in order!
